”We don’t get revelation just to blow up sacred cows, but to abide.” It hit me differently than before- with some images of the sacred cow from ancient Egypt being ground to powder and totally replaced with no image! The God who is with us! wow. After that sacred cow was demolished, the people no longer worshipped an image of a cow but eventually sacrificed perfect bulls to God in repentance to ”abide’ in God’s mercy and forgiveness.
