This, in turn, will cause our words to be more empowering and inspiring because “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). We cannot consistently do what we don’t believe we are. In Judges 6 the angel declared over Gideon that he was a mighty warrior. Even though it was not true in Gideon’s experience, it was still truth. When he heard who he was, it started the process of him experiencing it.
